Day 1.5-ish
My first glimpse at the australian coastline. Was raining when I arrived, so it was a little gloomy...hope I didn't bring the rain with me from back home ><.
ACTUAL day 2
Its a PELICAN! ..i dunno about you..but I've never seen a REAL pelican SO FREAKEN CLOSE UP! it was...like..just swimming on the beach?! in the wild! not in a zoo! Awestruck =) It reminded me of finding nemo. Well one thing I learned...it can definitely swim faster than I can run on sand....I looked like a crazy woman hopping along the beach trying to take this picture..but SO worth it.
